VS Grande Champagne Cognac from the House of Couprie. Though not quite as well known as some of the bigger Cognac Houses, Couprie produce some utterly marvellous expressions - as you'd expect from a House located in the most revered of Cognac's districts.
Juicy peach and yellow plum, with a few touches of milk chocolate and leafy thyme.
A pleasantly tasting cognac with a bit of a kick. It is also elegantly presented in a well-shaped bottle. It is a good purchase, at a fair price.
