My first Camus, but definitely not my last, complex notes on the nose with an overall smooth finish for a warming winter cognac, this is definitely going to be one of my staples now for a regular but very reasonably priced cognac, I usually defer to Remy Martin Vsop but this is a superb challenger
Very floral, fruity and aromatic. Has a certain complexity and character not found on other brands. Feels very much like drinking nectar. The screw cap may be a put-off for purists who believe that cork should be the only way to stopper a bottle of fine Cognac, but is actually very sturdy and practical. In a sentence, this is my favorite VSOP Cognac.
Had this for the first time last night. It’s a useful drink: not profound, but gentle, fruity, sweet but not cloying, with little oak signature. Hides its youth and alcohol well, and surely a crowd pleaser.
