It's the 2016 vintage of Larmandier-Bernier's spectacular Terre de Vertus Champagne. Produced from a single grape variety – Chardonnay grapes are harvested from a single mid-slope plot in Vertus. This unique terroir means that the grapes have all the variation and complexity needed, and there is no need for blending or added sugar. After natural fermentation and a year of maturation on the lees in Stockinger casks, the Champagne is bottled and stacked in the cellars of Larmandier-Bernier for a second fermentation and maturation of at least five years.
