Orange peel, rose petals, and honeyed apricot, with a soft undercurrent of vanilla and milk chocolate. Slight herbal lift in the background.
Sweet spice, candied citrus, dark chocolate, and dried figs. The Muscat influence shines through with a gently floral, almost grapey richness.

I go to the Greek islands on holiday and this is the brandy I drink. Metaxa 5 and 7 stars much better I can remember when the 12 star came out and it was too expensive even in duty free but has halved in price over the years. Still a lovely brandy

Have loved Metaxa for years - smooth, warming and excellent for soothing a ticklish throat (cough! cough!). A shot glass full as an aperitif or a digestif goes down a treat.
