Amphora 7 Stars is a fab Greek brandy, with botanicals and Muscat wine. The brand was created by Spyros Metaxa in 1888.

I only drink Brandy neat, had a bottle of covoursier xo brought for me last year. Very nice but I LOVE METAXA 7 star better. Very smooth drink.
I bought this bottle to try based on the good reviews I've read. I only drink brandies and cognac straight. Tasted funny, herbal, and more medicine like. Might be ok for mixing cocktails but definitely not enjoyable straight. Preferred the St. Remy french brandies or better yet, cognacs.
I've just returned from Greece with a bottle of this having fallen in love with it on holiday, only to find i can get it (MUCH) cheaper here! Ah well, i know where to come when it runs out...
