To mark another superb Fèis Ìle we asked the good public (that’s you!) to share a snap of your top Islay tipple and to flaunt your #MoMFeisIle t-shirt to be in with a chance of enjoying a bottle of our very own Bruichladdich 23 Year Old 1993 – Single Cask – and we’ve got our winner!
After all the spectacular sunshine, delightful drams and roaming data charges we’ve all finally recovered enough from another incredible Fèis Ìle to announce the two lucky whisky-lovers who have won our Islay moment competition!
An Islay dram for those who had Islay dreams
Let’s start with announcing the winner of the contest designed to involve all those who, for whatever reason, were not able to make this year’s Fèis Ìle, a pain we shared for many years before (or in this particular writer’s case, one I also experienced this year. It’s fine and I’m completely over it, so I don’t know why you keep bringing it up). We wanted you to show us what you were drinking while the festival was on by sharing a snap of your Islay (or Jura) dram with us on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or Google+ with your own tasting notes (go easy on them next time, the last thing I need is competition) and the #MoMFeisIle hashtag. In this image, the winner shows an eye for a unique setting and superb use of #nofilter…
Congratulations WhisQueer, you’ve won yourself a full bottle Bruichladdich 23 Year Old 1993 – Single Cask!
Style icons: festival-goers rock the Master of Malt Fèis Ìle 2018 tee
The other winner is one of the fortunate few to have been on Islay for the festival. We asked you to take a selfie in your Master of Malt Fèis Ìle 2018 tee and post it to Instagram, Twitter, Facebook or Google+ with the #MoMFeisIle hashtag, and lots of you willingly obliged. In this winning snap, you can see Bruichladdich day and, most importantly, the winner enjoying it!
Congratulations Islay Sketcher, you won! A full bottle of Bruichladdich 23 Year Old 1993 – Single Cask is your worthy prize.
That concludes the Islay moment competition folks! You have made all of us at MoM Towers reminisce of our Islay adventure and given us plenty of laughs along the way…
