Born from a desire to bring the Scandinavian spirit of Aquavit to the world, Nuet Dry Aquavit features traditional elements (like a potato-based spirit, and plenty of caraway) alongside some more non-traditional ingredients, like grapefruit peel, blackcurrant and blackcurrant leaves. A wonderful blend of the familiar and unfamiliar, it works well as the base for all sorts of cocktails, and even simply served with tonic water.
A creamy spirit carrying warming caraway with a hint of liquorice sweetness, followed by a refreshing splash of citrus peels and berries. Slightly peppery on the finish.

Awesome stuff. I used to hate aquavit, it was always too oily, heavy or just plain unpleasant. This is so far removed from the traditional style: elegant, pleasantly spicy yet citrussy, a real savoury alternative to London Dry gins. Tried it in a Corpse Reviver #2 and was blown away!

One of the smoothest spirits to drink neat, although perhaps best in cocktails as a substitute to gin, which I have become somewhat bored of as of late. Nuet is not only a great substitute, but in fact a better ingredient that adds an exciting and fresh flavour to your cocktail. A definite premium product from Norway.
