The iconic, award winning craft gin brand releases a zesty way to elevate the classic G&T this Summer and encourages you to ‘Savour Every Sip’.

Bathtub Gin are renowned for their embrace of the slow lifestyle and the team behind it believe that everyone should make the time to savour every sip of life, especially when there is a glass of the very finest in small batch gin to hand!

This newest edition, Persian Lime and Orange Blossom, offers a dry and unsweetened expression, awesomely aromatic, with an abundance of zesty lime peel and citrus oil bolstering the bold juniper and gentle spices at its core. After distillation, the liquid is cold infused with orange peel and five other carefully selected fresh botanicals over seven days, leading to the double infused and distinctive flavour that is uniquely Bathtub.

This gin creates a base for the ultimate G&T and shines mixed with bitter lemon.

“The inspiration for this flavour follows on from the trend we discovered during our first flavour competition” explains Hannah Burden-Teh “for this expression we elevated classic lime with orange blossom to complement the fresh zestiness with sweet floral notes. The past year has seen Bathtub push the flavour boundaries, with expressions including the ‘crowd-sourced’ Grapefruit & Rosemary and the heavenly Rose & Cardamom. This variation is no different, as the team take the award winning double infused Bathtub Gin and blend with all-natural Persian lime and orange blossom water.

As always, a hand drawn illustration of a Bathtub filled with roses and cardamom pods adorns the bottle which is hand wrapped, strung and waxed in Kent.

Persian Lime & Orange Blossom Martini

A simple and delicious cocktail that allows the elegant flavours to shine through, as they mingle with the gently floral vermouth.

60ml Bathtub Gin Persian Lime & Orange Blossom

30ml Lillet Blanc

Add both ingredients to a mixing glass with ice and stir for at least 15 second. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with lemon oils and zest.

Tasting notes

Nose: Massively fragrant with piles of piney, resinous juniper berries doused in floral citrus oils. A smidge of green Fruit Pastille and dried lime peels come through in time.

Palate: All the character of the classic Bathtub, bolstered by heady citrus blossom and zingy peels. Notes reminiscent of a zesty, floral Earl Grey tea, delicately herbaceous, with lime boiled sweeties in tow.

Finish: Elegant spices finish things off with cardamom and clove, perfumed notes of baklava, lingering essential oils, and fragrant, dried pithy peels.

Overall: All the botanical brilliance of the classic Bathtub Gin, bolstered by layer upon layer of zesty citrus.
