Chateau Vaudieu CNP 09 Bottling Note

Chateauneuf du Pape is a red Rhone blend of the Grenache, Syrah (Shiraz) and Mourvedre grapes, with the Grenache and Syrah dominating. Other grape types may also be used in Southern Rhone blends such as this wine. This wine gained 93 points out of 100 in a review by Wine Spectator.

Blackberries and black cherries on the nose leading to a spicy palate with notes of anise on a palate displaying structured tannins and a firm minerality.
