Glenlivet 30YO #9457 Bottling Note

This was distilled at the Glenlivet distillery on the 5th November 1981 before a 30 year maturation in a single cask (sherry hogshead number 9457). It was bottled for Signatory's Cask Strength Collection in February 2012.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet overripe grapes and leather. Notes of port wine, sherry and allspice. Cigar leaves and Corinth raisins.

Palate: Prunes and brandy butter. Hints of cocoa, black pepper and blackberry jam. Hints of mixed herbs.

Finish: Ginger and sherry. Spicy.
