A very tasty Sauternes finished Edradour. This was distilled on the 29th June 1999 and aged in hogsheads before being disgorged on the 29th October 2008. It was then re-racked into a Sauternes hogshead before bottling on the 4th June 2010. A release of 452 bottles.

Absolutely fantastic even without a splash of water.Love Sauternes finished whisky. As described above. I have to agree. In the finish chocolate with nuts than juiciness but with dry tongue. Very long. God love it
The sauternes is realy tasty. First Nose impression was something like dark chocolat. Then the sharpness from the alcohol then,...if you close your eyes you would see the green lands with stone walls and a white small distillery. The taste was suprising as well. ;-) I would try something like the chataeu neuf du pape and the madeira or port casked Edradour aswell.
this is a lovely dram. i was suprised at how much you could taste the wine. it made the whisky almost refreshing. nice fruity flavour. very easy to drink
