Distilled at the Royal Lochnagar distillery in October 1984, this was aged for 23 years in refill hogshead number 4205 before bottling by Douglas Laing in March 2008. A release of 295 bottles.

Nose
Lots of stewed fruit notes, also hints of cinnamon, chili, barley and orange zest.
Palate
Opens on big grilled orange with caramelised sugar. Hints of sweet oak, barley, acacia honey, a touch of spice.
