Port Ellen 26 OMC Bottling Note

A stunning 26 year old from the Port Ellen distillery - one of the most legendary distilleries in the world. This was distilled in February 1982 and aged for 26 years in sherry butt number 4447 before bottling in June 2008. A release of 721 bottles from the Old Malt Cask range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Fresh and quite coastal. Sweet citrus, toffee, hints of tar. Faint hints of Mezcal...

Palate: Opens on a sweet rush of almond, walnut, coffee, toffee and lime, then develops on calves leather and smoke.

Finish: Spicy
