What's in a name? Yoichi 1991 Single Cask (Nikka) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Japan. Were it from America it would be spelled Yoichi 1991 Single Cask (Nikka) whiskey, rather than whisky.
The nose has lots of wood as well as demerara sugar, cardemom and raisins. Rather complex and in the palate(w.w.) we find, more or less, the same but with more fruits like oranges, apples and apricots; beautiful whisky, highly recommended!
