Linkwood 14 Year Old 1990 (Signatory) Old Bottling
An old, rare edition from Signatory. This was distilled at Linkwood on the 21st May 1990. It was then aged in a sherry butt for 14 years before bottling on the 29th September 2004. A release of 865 bottles from cask 4202. Lovely stuff.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh and clean. Notes of marzipan and Greek yoghurt with honey. A touch of apple cider and soft sherry.
Palate
Sherried and fruity, black pepper and hints of dried herbs. A touch of menthol and caramel. Malty and spiced.
Finish
Long and sweet, notes of fig on the tail.
