Glenlochy 30 Bottling Note

Distilled at Glenlochy on the 4th September 1980, this was aged in a single hogshead for 30 years before bottling for the Signatory's Cask Strength Collection. A release of 224 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Beeswax and hints of paraffin, with notes of hot buttered crumpets, some spices, espresso coffee, menthol and oak.

Palate: Rich and slightly smoky. A brazen, muscular dram with notes of curry spices, espresso and more beeswax. Good malty backbone with hints of stewed apples and horseradish.

Finish: Good length with notes of fresh parsley oak, smoke and honey.
