This single cask, cask strength Glenlivet was distilled on the 10th June 1985, and aged in hogshead 19750 for 25 years before bottling on the 13th January 2011. A release of 212 bottles.
Nose: Sweet, with fresh fruit and vanilla and above all lovely oak. Surprisingly little alcohol despite cask strength. Taste: Sweet and smooth, fresh fruit and vanilla and a hint of oaky spice. The finish is long and lovely, and a bit dry. Again surprisingly little alcohol, you don't need water in this one.
