This was distilled at the Glen Ord distillery in Spring of 2000. It was aged in a single refill hogshead for 11 years before bottling by Douglas Laing. They chose it for their Provenance range which aims to promote the wonderful effects of terroir and season...
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
An aromatic, creamy nose with cut hay, berry fruits and apple peels.
Palate
Gristy sweetness, cooked pear, honey and cinnamon, black pepper and rich malt.
Finish
A long finish with orange peel and butterscotch.
