    Glen Elgin 20 Year Old 1991 - Cask Strength Collection (Signatory)

    A delicious cask strength Speyside whisky distilled at Glen Elgin on the 2nd April 1991 and aged in refill sherry butt 2325 for 20 years before bottling by Signatory on the 28th November 2011. A release of 574 numbered bottles.

    Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

    Grassy and grainy nose with some coffee beans, nutmeg, chocolate, caramel and oak.

    Palate

    Good body with manuka honey, oak and spice. Some fruit, caramelised sugar, coffee beans and dark chocolate with a hint of rye spice.

    Finish

    Good length with pepper and spices, hints of fruit and malt.
