What's in a name? Edradour 1999 Natural Cask Strength (cask 291) - Ibisco Decanter whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Edradour 1999 Natural Cask Strength (cask 291) - Ibisco Decanter whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Christmas cake with marmalade. Waxy vanilla, ginger.
Palate: Creamy and spiced, mouth-coating, orange peel.
Finish: Cinnamon and vanilla, cracked pepper.
I find the Ibisco Decanters on the whole very good all though some can be hellish. This one is top notch. Tasting notes spot on.
