A 1995 vintage finished in Bordeaux, the sexiest wine region in France. As with a lot of wine finished whisky, the mouthfeel is where it all lies, here it is chewy and rich and there are lovely spice notes and a touch of rum. Another interesting finished whisky from Edradour.
Good body, fresh. Floral, dry. Berry fruits. Marmalade. Spice, Armagnac.
Bold. Thick port, red grape. Marmalade. Dried fruit, berries.
Long, juicy, berries.
