Cameronbridge 34 1978 Bottling Note

A beautifully aged single cask grain whisky from the Cameronbridge distillery, this was distilled in August 1978 before a 34 year maturation in cask 8. It was bottled at natural cask strength for Duncan Taylor's Dimensions series and there are just 219 numbered bottles available.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Desiccated coconut and bourbon barrel char. Vanilla, sweetened lattes and pralines. A little spice too, with water bringing out notes of caramel.

Palate: Creamy dark caramel and coffee beans. Custard apples. Strawberry jam and salted butter. Very creamy and luscious.

Finish: Medium, fruity finish.
