Blairmhor is an 8-year-old blend of around 20 different single malts, mostly from Speyside. This bottle was originally released in the '90s, and ought to make a fun addition to a retro whisky tasting or collection!
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
The nose is rich and full with notes of dried mixed peels and malted barley. There are hints of smoke and a gentle peat. The palate is quite full and well-balanced. There are notes of spice and peat with a little barley and honey. The finish is long and malty with oak and honey.

Value for money right here not to different from Glen moray 12yr old but more complex in my opinion and at the price point its hard to past!.
It is a satisfying blend of naughty but nice, best served on the rocks with a small dash of ginger ale.
nice complex whisky on the tastebuds and nose, old honey, mint and bowmore style elegant sweet rubber, with a fine hint of greasy oily peat swamp forest finish, truly a Moorland.
