Benrinnes 12 Year Old 1999 (cask 8571) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)
This was distilled at the Benrinnes distillery in the Summer of 1999. It was aged for 12 years in a single sherry butt before bottling for the Provenance range in Summer 2012.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dried peels and allspice. A little vanilla and apple.
Palate
Fruity, toffee-rich palate with notes of sweet barley malt, cooked fruit and allspice.
Finish
Spiced, herbal finish. Lingering salted caramel.
