Moskovskaya Russian vodka, with its distinctive green label, was originally introduced in 1894 and may have been the first vodka to implement Mendeleyev's formula to a create 40% abv spirit. After World War I and a period of prohibition, the vodka was relaunched in the Soviet state. This bottle is from later in the Soviet period, in the 1970s.
