Cold River Blueberry Bottling Note

To make this excellent Blueberry vodka, they take small Wymans and Maine blueberries, which have a much more intense flavour. Then they steep them for a few days in alcohol, and they filter the flavoured alcohol off. They then add a small quantity of sugar and a little water and mix this solution into their excellent Cold River potato vodka. Brilliant!

This vodka was a nice surprise! While on vacation in New Hampshire, I asked for Stoli Blueberry vodka, all of the local restaurants were carrying Cold River instead. I tried it and loved it. It has a much stronger blueberry taste. Very nice with lemonade and/or a splash of soda. Perfect in a martini as well, great summer drink!
