Tequila Chamucos Añejo

My 9 rating is of course in comparison to other Tequilas. My first exposure was in 1998 while working in Mexico City. I am now back in Mexico and was pleased to find the release of the Anejo. I agree with the evaluation of packaging. Over the years some makers have cut back. This hand blown glass with the traditional Chamucos label is wonderful, as is the contents. Very slightly sweet and so full bodied. The phrase "si amanece, nos vamos" translates roughly to "if you awaken (see the dawn) we go away". I also agree with the almond and fruit but must add a touch of vanilla. I am sure you will enjoy it!
