Straight corn whiskey is distilled from a mashbill made up of at least 80% corn, with the rest being made up either of wheat, barley, rye, or yet more corn. It is something of an antiquated style, most popular pre-Prohibition, though today many distilleries in America do their own traditional version, harkening back to the days of the early settlers (who would drink anything, or so it might seem).
