Nose: Sticky and darkly fruity with notes of sultanas, date and walnut cake, prunes, calves leather and cedar. A touch of pine needle and gingerbread. A little dark chocolate and damson jam.
Palate: Medium body with notes of soft, stewed fruits, cinnamon, stem ginger in syrup, tangy oak and light zesty citrus.
Finish: Syrupy, unctuous, long finish with almond and pepper.
