Nose: Fruity and zesty with notes of fresh, tangy citrus, cooked fruits, coconut, guava, gingernut biscuit mix (uncooked), cedar, old oak and leather.
Palate: It feels very French indeed, with notes of plum wine, toffee apple, dates, cinnamon and cloves. A little old wine-like-ness about it, and butterscotch.
Finish: Good length trailing off on damson jame and pepper.
