Highland Blended Whisky

The Highlands is such a broad region that there are many styles to choose from. There are some great blended whiskies from the area and it is unsurprising: for a blended whisky to have real character, a full-bodied, characterful malt whisky is required to stand up to the more nondescript grain whisky. Generally speaking, Highland whiskies are quite full-bodied, not unlike the terroir: big and brazen!
