Merlyn is a Welsh cream liqueur from Penderyn. This is made from Welsh "malted barley spirit" and fresh cream.
I gave my aunt some Merlin liqueur for her birthday at the grand age of ONE HUNDRED AND SEVEN- living completely independently, it obviously does her the world of good !

I went to the Penderyn distillery in Llandudno and decided to try this after the tour. As someone who hated Baileys I was curious. Served over ice and chilled from the fridge. I was a convert. So delicious! And single cream so not sickly. I am now addicted and have persuaded others to try this and they are equally impressed. I bought as a gift and am now hoping someone buys me some for Christmas. I have had to stop buying for myself s the temptation is too great.
So gorgeous! Just make sure it's well chilled, otherwise the chocolate flavour will be too dominant.
Much better than that other stuff ;) Fully recommend, won’t buy anything else.
