This calvados is distilled in a still using the continuous distillation process and is matured in small oak barrels. Vieux is based on a blend of different apples.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Powerful apple smell with soft spice and musty, dried flower depth.

Palate: Big apple flavour, baked fruit, apples and pears, with more soft brown sugar spice.

Finish: Mellows out to a lengthy tarte tatin finish.

Overall: An excellent calvados, great value for money.
