Louche Absinthe

Louche Bottling Note
A great French absinthe created by sixth generation Master Distiller, Alain Lemercier. Whilst its abv is low in comparison to some absinthes, this stuff roars complexity and flavour. Louche is an authentic French spirit.
very good for the price
As a recent convert to the delights of absinthe, with the right amount of sugar and water this is a very acceptable tipple, not bitter like many low end absinthes. Ignore the green dye, well worth it
It's alright!
A good intro to Absinthe. Everything about it feels artificial (colour, flavour, smell), however it isn't offensive, and certainly isn't a bad price!
Ignoring the absinthe traditionalists of any and all backgrounds(naughty me), I found that this was best enjoyed in a whisky glass, with 4 ice cubes (allow them to melt a little) and a single teaspoonful (not a lump) of sugar. It may not cater to the pretenses which generally accompany absinthe, but there you have it.
