Description
Sancerre in the Loire is best known for its crisp, shellfish-friendly whites made from sauvignon blanc but it also makes some great reds from pinot noir. This comes from a very good producer with grapes grown on very steep slopes with a flinty soil - perfect for ripening in a cooler climate.

Vibrant black cherry and bramble fruit with smooth tannins and earthy leathery notes on the finish.
