5 year old single malt whisky from the Dutch master distillers, Zuidam. This expression has been made using lightly peated barley for a subtle hint of smokiness that goes very well with their excellent whiskies.
Horrible amounts of acetone hinted with chemical floral notes. I can enjoy most things but this was a struggle.
Nothing to write home about. Slightly more peat than say Penderyn Celt and then just an alcohol taste. This makes Ardmore seem strong.
