This is a Taiwanese single malt whisky produced at the Nantou distillery for the Yushan Signature range. It was matured in sherry casks before being bottled at 46% ABV. The name comes from the highest mountain in Taiwan. The whiskies being produced in Taiwan have been particularly impressive indeed, so we expect big things from this one...
Juicy citrus, chestnut, a touch of Turkish delight, buttery malt.
Chocolatey at first, but once again orange peel and floral barley take the spotlight. Rum-soaked raisin and soft ginger heat.
Lingering oak spice and a touch of mince pie filling.

Tasty stuff. Even at 46%, it has a light, citrusy taste. It makes a great nightcap.
Icing sugar, melon, malt. Milk chocolate & orange peel. Oak & sandalwood.
