To celebrate House of Suntory's 100th anniversary, this limited-edition Yamazaki 12 Year Old was released (from Japan's oldest malt whisky distillery, don't you know). With a special label to celebrate the occasion, it pictures the famed distillery from a low angle, as a reminder to always stay grounded as an homage to founder Shinjiro Torii.
Good body with plenty of nut oils and zest, a pleasant floral character with a little tropical fruit and a rooty note.
Smooth and soft with good sweetness and winter spice. A lovely citrus note develops with more tropical fruit notes and a little rum.
