It's made with a combination of 51% malt, 47% corn and 2% rye, making for classic malty notes, with rounded corn sweetness and just a touch of peppery spice in support.

Definitely a step up from their cheapest offering. It's a fuller flavour with a longer finish. Definitely worth the extra money.
It’s certainly not like any other malt I’ve tasted, quite a harsh, coppery note to it. Not the sort of whisky to sip, despite a sweet, caramelly palate and like another reviewer, I found it hard to find a mixer that worked. Made a tolerable old fashioned with a splash of bitters. I think I’ll stick with Woodford’s excellent bourbons.
I'm not a fan, very malty which may be to others' taste. Couldn't find anything that mixed well with it.
