A special inaugural release of Wolfburn single malt from the northernmost mainland distillery in Scotland. Just 875 (100 in the UK) of these individually numbered and engraved bottles have been released, with the whisky selected by Distillery Manager Shane Fraser from some of the very first casks filled at the distillery. Each bottle will also come with a handmade oak presentation box.
Our allocation was split between a 3cl dram lottery [1,308 entries for 2 bottles' worth], a bottle lottery [1,027 entries for 2 bottles] and an auction that raised £3,066.66 for Malaria No More UK [2 bottles]. Read more over on our blog.
Wonderfully unique in flavour. It's light and fragrant with aromas of fruit, malt and a hint of peat, sweet and nutty on the palate, leaving a pleasant flavour of smoke in the mouth.
