Independently bottled Islay single malt here from Woodrow's of Edinburgh. Distilled at Williamson in 2012, the Scotch whisky matured in a refill hogshead before finishing in a first-fill PX sherry hogshead. 289 bottles were released in 2022.
Bold Islay smoke is joined by sweet dried fruits, and frangipane.
Rich, coastal smoke, with sticky malt loaf, toasted nuts, and Christmas pudding.
Peat, raisins, and praline.
