A classic blend made up of 41 different whiskies. Whyte and Mackay special is a great mixer.
of blended whiskies this is the top of my list, Grants will come second; anything else gets ginger. don't defile it with water or mixer. "overhyped junk" - HA! get a life. to reiterate down to personal taste and definitely worth exploring
Cheap and inoffensive blend. Better than Bells.
I can't understand peoples complaints about this Whiskey and as for not as good as Teachers or Grants. it's a blend and always on the supermarket shelf and often on discount. It is a good drop and equal to any low priced supermarket booze. I am a Speyside man but I will pick up Whyte and Mackay when the litre bottle in on offer and I would not choose Grants Or Teachers when Whyte and Mackay is on the shelf .
What a bloody good blended Scotch. Absolutely smooth and easy drink
...otherwise one of the rougher blends. Not a patch on quality blends like Teachers or even the likes of Grants/Bells. Mixed this with soda water mainly, tried a few straight, pretty hard going.
