A classic blend made up of 41 different whiskies. Whyte and Mackay special is a great mixer.
Not a whisky that I have bought, but was one that was given to me as a gift. I was surprised as to how nice it was; better than Black Label which I normally buy. Smooth taste, full of delicate flavours. Surprising good, and better than most that I have drunk in recent years.
Decent blend at £17 a 1l in 2023
Feels watery in the mouth with little or no aftertaste. Very disappointing.
My go to blend , its easy drinking medium finish , malty
Sweet, smooth, complex, too easy to drink. Brilliant value. I don’t know how they do it for the low price. I first tasted this after winning a bottle at a wonderful village event in Inveraray during a memorable holiday in Scotland. The whisky was as warming and welcoming as the people of this lovely town.
