New bottle, new taste. I paid £12 on "special offer" . Never again, supermarkets own white label bottom shelf £11 is a better blend than this sH:t. Tastes harsh and chemicaly. It's a shame because Whyte & Mackay used be very good and tasted of Christmas pudding. Bye bye....
OK but not as good as it was last year. Seems like they have lowered the malt content abit.
Nice with a wee dash of mineral water
Shouldn't ratings be weighted based on price, and what the whisky aims to be? This whisky is great value, I'm not going to compare it to the distiller edition single malts I've tasted, as it costs a tiny fraction what they did. For its price, I've never tasted anything better, so surely that makes it a legitimate 5*.
Good and smooth whisky, warming. A winter warmer. Caramel, hazelnut, sweet orange, toffee. Medium to long finish. Well done... I like it, I do.
