The smell of this whisky is amazing, unfortunately the taste is mediocre at best. Sweet, and doesn’t linger, gone from the mouth almost instantly. Some might like this, but I find it very disappointing.
£12 , 70 cl bottle . Very grainy , smoke vanilla honey notes . Enjoyed neat and also with Bundaberg ginger beer cold. Ticks all boxes as a blend .
This has to be one of if not the best whiskey s I've tasted. Bought 1L bottle in Northern Ireland as having problems buying in Eire. I can't believe the price and was always told to avoid blended whiskey but this is excellent. It goes to the top of my list
The flavour... heavens
I bought a litre of this whisky for £15.98 from a supermarket. I had positive expectations because of the good reviews on here , but I wasn't impressed so much. It's a smooth, cheap tipple that is rather bland , but probably better than a few others at this price , so I am not complaining . However , I think it is worth paying a just few pounds more , if you can afford it of course , to get a more enjoyable whiskey with a bit of character locked inside it .
