This edition of Wire Works single malt from Derbyshire's White Peak distillery was treated to a finish in Moscatel wine casks. Generous layers of dried fruits, citrus, and sweet, cakey spice compliment the classic, lightly peated Wire Works malt at its core.
Honeyed prunes, dried orange peels, a touch of liquorice, toasted nuts, and some floral summer fruits beneath.
Fresh, tangy citrus, vanilla, peaches, and toasted marzipan are followed by creamy notes of milk bottle sweeties, caramel, and ginger.
