A decent little pub next to the Edinburgh playhouse was serving, festive hot apple drinks with either whisky, brandy or rum. I went for the whisky one. My word the drink was exceptional. Just what you need after a show on a cold December night before Christmas. I asked what whisky was in the drink. It was this. So tried it in its own. Every bit as excellent highly recommend, ended up having a quiet a few. Great memories were had. Just need to the recipe for the hot apple drink now.
