
This American single malt whisky from the Virginia Distillery Co. is distilled from 100% North American malted barley, long fermented with a two-strain proprietary yeast mixture (one for yield, one for flavour), fermented for a generous 72 hours. The whisky spent at least six years maturing in a host of first-fill Kentucky bourbon casks before bottling at a satisfying 46% ABV. Expect plenty of oaken vanilla, hints of citrus, and cinnamon warmth here.
Aromas of vanilla, butterscotch, and a touch of soft oak combine with flavours of orange oil, cinnamon, and toasted coconut.
