Uncle Nearest
Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey is produced in Tennessee using a combination of corn and rye, and is put through the Lincoln County Process before being aged in new American oak barrels. Currently it's produced by two local distilleries as the brand's own whiskey ages. The name honours Nathan Green, who was known as Uncle Nearest to friends and family, and was the first African-American master distiller on record in the USA. It's from Uncle Nearest that a particular Jack Daniel was taught about distilling was back in the mid-1800s. Nathan 'Nearest' Green is undoubtedly a figure who was vitally important to whiskey history.
Buttery vanilla and brown sugar, mixed with soft sultana and cinnamon sweetness.
Caramelised nuts, oat cookies, more brown sugar, sandalwood, authentic corn hints and a hint of cut grass.
Lingering mint leaf and milk chocolate notes, with a final touch of spicy oak.
$33.93 - $94.39
Absolutely love this drink.Best Wiskey ever..It's a must have yearly. JD fans UncleNearest is the Truth.
Fantastic!...best whiskey I've ever had. Brash, bold, sits well and goes down easy. No after taste leaving a smooth path for the next one.
Love it and I am not a drinker of spirits, got given a miniature at Heathrow and tried it became a fan Service was exceptional ordered 9 pm arrived before 2 the following day with requesting fas delivery
Brought my third bottle recently, by far one of the best whisky i have tried hands down! Smooth, authentic and has nice smoke flavour. Really like this and the history of it!
A gorgeous juice. Tennessee whiskey at its best. Lots of flavour to excite my taste buds. Think of it being a little bit like a JD single barrel but with a lot more character in my opinion. Lots of toffee and spicy overtones. Cinnamon, nutmeg, dark chocolate, dates and maple syrup. A little new leather on the nose with the usual maple syrup and vanilla offered by any quality Tennessee whiskey.
