Big, bold blended Irish whiskey here from Two Stacks. This mix of grain, malt, and pot still whiskies (including a small amount of peated whiskey) was bottled at a big 64% ABV after maturing in a combination of virgin oak, bourbon, and oloroso sherry casks.
Molasses, nectarine, cinnamon, warm oak and a touch of tea leaf.
Raisins and sultanas, cedar, ginger, almonds, black pepper, caramel.
Still enjoyably honeyed, with spicy hints of pepper and nutmeg in tow.
